Sundyne Merges with Pressure Products Industries

Adds sealless diagram compressors to product line

Published:

Sundyne is merging with Pressure Products Industries (PPI), a manufacturer of sealless reciprocating diaphragm compressors for the refining, petrochemical, chemical, liquefied natural gas and semiconductor markets.

For more than 60 years, PPI has made compressor packages that deliver non-contaminating compression of critical gases, complying with API standard 618 for leak free performance.

Sealless diaphragm compressors are designed for cylinder filling, fuel cell technology, or transfer applications that require high purity or handling dangerous gases under pressure. Sundyne PPI sealless compressors are available in single- and multi-stage packages with displacements to 150 cfm (255 m3/hr), pressures to 17,000 psi (1170 bar) and up to 250 hp (187 kW) of power.

“The Sundyne PPI portfolio of compressors is designed to safely operate in the most demanding applications, and naturally complement our commitment to innovative and reliable sealless magnetic drive pumps,” said Sundyne President Jeff Wiemelt.

PPI was a member of the Milton Roy family of pump products, another Accudyne Industries company. PPI sealless diaphragm compressors are available now through the global network of Sundyne channel partners.
