Ro-Flo Compressors Brings Testing In-House

Rotary test center services company and external machinery

Ro-Flo Compressors no longer has to find a place to test its products to ASME, PTC, ISO, API, customer-specific or proprietary standards. The rotary vane compressor supplier can just take its equipment 2 mi. (3.2 km) east of its Appleton, Wisconsin, offices to its recently built Rotary Test Center.

The 7500 sq.ft. (697 m2 ) facility tests all rotating equipment, such as positive displacement compressors, centrifugal compressors, pumps, turboexpanders, gearboxes, and all support components and systems. With specialized software, the center provides immediate assessment of equipment performance through data analysis.

“It’s a great service that we have at our fingertips,” said Matt Duel, director of testing for Ro-Flo Compressors. “Customer concerns or issues with equipment can be examined in detail under controlled conditions and ultimately resolved.”
