GE Begins Remanufacturing Waukesha Engine Components

Thursday, October 04, 2012

GE has launched its reUp parts remanufacturing program for the fleet of Waukesha gas engines supporting compression and power generation projects worldwide.

The company will remanufacture engine components to their original specifications while incorporating the latest engineering updates to maximize performance and reduce the risks of equipment failure and unplanned downtime for service.

The program will be offered to North American customers before being expanded worldwide.

In the initial program, GE will service VHP Series 4 cylinder heads, VGF cylinder heads and VHP/VGF connecting rods. Over the next month, it will expand the reUp program and will offer additional reUp parts for Waukesha engines in 2013.
