Exterran to build two West Virginia gas plants

Williams Partners has provided Exterran Holdings with a contract to build two cryogenic gas processing plants in the Marcellus Shale region of West Virginia, U.S.A.
Both of the plants will have capacity of 200 MMcfd (5.6 x 106 m3/day). Exterran will provide site development, construction, installation and start up for the two plants it develops, as well as for a third, similarly-sized cryogenic plant. Completion is due in late 2013 and early 2014.
Earlier this year, the company began construction on a 65,000 sq.ft. (6000 m2) manufacturing plant near Youngstown, Ohio, U.S.A. to provide products and services in the Marcellus and Utica shale plays.
Exterran has 40 years of experience in the design, engineering, fabrication, installation and maintenance of gas processing facilities. It has completed more than 300 of these facilities worldwide.
