Papers Sought For Fall Technical Conference

Papers related to the development, advancement and improved understanding of the internal combustion engine are being sought for the ASME Internal Combustion Engine division’s 2012 Fall Technical Conference, which will be held Sept. 23-26 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The conference, which is hosted by Westport Innovations, Inc., highlights networking activities among members of industry, government, and academia, as well as keynote speakers and student presentations.

Papers will be grouped into one of the following technical tracks for judging: large bore engines; fuels; advanced combustion; emissions control systems; instrumentation, controls and hybrids; numerical simulation; and engine design, lubrication and applications.

Interested writers may submit papers of two types: archival-type research articles and engineering application articles. Abstracts of 400 words or less must be submitted by Friday at the conference website: www.asmeconference.org/ICEF2012.
