Bakken Shale Gas Processing Plant Started

Oneok Partners LP has put on line a 100 MMcfd (2.8 x 106 m3) gas processing plant in eastern McKenzie County, North Dakota, U.S.A.
Oneok Partners plans to spend US$1.5 billion to US$1.8 billion for Bakken Shale gathering, processing and natural gas liquids (NGL) projects between now and 2014.
In addition to the Garden Creek plant, the projects include the 500 mi. (800 km) Bakken NGL pipeline and two 100 MMcfd gas processing plants (Stateline I and Stateline II) in western Williams County. Stateline I is due completion in the third quarter of this year. Stateline II and the NGL pipeline will be finished in the first half of 2013.
Oneok Partners said it is the largest independent operator of Williston Basin gas gathering and processing facilities, with a 3500 mi. (5600 km) gathering system and more than 1.9 million acres (770,000 ha) of dedicated acreage.
