Exterran to Provide Treatment, Compression for Pemex

Pemex has selected Exterran to provide gas conditioning, treating and compression services at three natural gas facilities in the state of Veracruz, Mexico.

The five-year services agreement will include equipment designed, made and installed by Exterran. The project includes systems for dewpoint control, with further processes designed to remove liquids from the natural gas stream to meet Pemex’s specifications.

The expected volume of the three processing plants will total more than 650 MMcfd (18.4 x 106 m3). The project also will utilize more than 20,000 hp (15 MW) of idle compression equipment primarily from Exterran’s North American fleet.The facilities will be commissioned in the second quarter of this year.
