Zahroof Valves Moves in Houston

Additional space will enable expansion

Published:

Zahroof Valves Inc. has moved to a larger facility in Houston, at 8615-A Jackrabbit Road, to enable it to improve compressor valve product turnaround, optimize testing and R&D capabilities and add employees.

The company is expanding staff in its quality assurance and control, engineering, marketing, and sales departments to meet continuing growth.

“With the latest Environmental Protection Agency regulations associated with valve efficiency standards enforcement, we are confident the demand for our patented SF valve, proven to deliver a 20% improvement in valve efficiency, will continue,” said Zahroof Mohamed, president and CEO.

The company said the valve’s straight-through flow path reduces the need for compressor power and/or increases throughput. The design makes the valve self-cleaning and more tolerant to liquids and solids in the flow stream than other compressor valves (see COMPRESSORtech2, October 2013, p. 20).
